Set in the early 70's...The Channel 4 News team and Legendary Anchorman Ron Burgundy (a macho, mustachioed bachelor with a penchant for scotch and an unmatched passion for the jazz flute) perform a hilarious version of "Afternoon delight".
Inspired by a special dish (The Afternoon Delight) served in a restaurant called "Clyde's" in Washington D.C.
According to the songwriter, it was a plate of "shrimp with Brie and almonds"... One of the reasons "fishing" is mentioned so frequently, along with the double entendre of noon-time nookie ... Must be one hell of a dish!
